Role Access Reviews

A Role Access Reviews is a type of Access Review in Clarity. This style of Review lets you perform an Access Review on various roles in Clarity, and help you decide if your Role Based Access Control configuration in Clarity is still valid.

It is recommended that you define Role Owners to perform the Review aspect of this Access Review.

Role Access Review Types:

Role Access Reviews will always produce an Access Review of Roles and the Entitlements from Downstream Application associated with the selected roles. The options described below help you determine which Roles you will be evaluating.

Role Access Review Types

TypeDescription
All RolesThis option will generate an Access Review for every Role in your tenant, this includes both intermediary and terminal. All Entitlements associated with intermediary and terminal roles will be included.
High Risk Labeled RolesThis option lets you generate a review for any roles you have designated as High Risk, the resulting review would be for all entitlements which are part of the High Risk flagged Roles.
Selected Role OwnersThis option lets you choose from a list of Clarity Identities which are Role Owners. For your selected Identities, the associated Entitlements for all Roles they are the owner of will be included in the Review.
Specific RolesThis option lets you choose from the list of Roles in your Clarity tenant and select which ones you wish to review (excluding the rest). All entitlements for each role selected will be included for the review.
Tagged RolesUse the tag feature to determine which Roles will be included in the review, all Entitlements associated with the Roles (with matching tag) will be included in the review.
